What
to look out for in your child

Poor posture when writing - slouches over desk, sits on knees,
difficulty maintaining an upright position
- Fatigues easily when writing
- Immature pencil grip
- Letter / Number reversals
- Poor dexterity of fingers
- Poor organisation of written work
- Spacing of letters / words incorrect
- Insufficient amounts of written work produced at one time
- Stop / Start handwriting opposed to flowing style
- Your child complains that their hand hurts
- Are they stabilising the page?
- Are they forming their letters correctly?
- Are they having difficulty copying accurately?
- Are they having difficulty recalling spelling words?
